Cascadia Community College (CCC) in partnership with the
Washington Community College
Consortium for Study Abroad (WCCCSA) sends groups of students to study abroad in the above countries.
The
Consortium includes 14 colleges in the State of Washington, and has a long,
successful history. WCCCSA works with study abroad providers who
have staff located at the destinations. Additionally, the providers
arrange the housing, classroom space, excursions, medical insurance, and
more. Details and applications are
available for each program
from the Washington Community
College Consortium for Study Abroad website and from:

The student groups are accompanied and taught by faculty from
participating institutions, except for language and culture classes where they are taught
by local instructors. The curriculum varies from year to year, depending on who is
selected to teach. Program refunds will not be issued on the basis of
course offerings that do not meet particular academic requirements.
Students may be dismissed from the program for failure to participate in the
academic coursework.
Actual course registration occurs at the home institution
and program fees are paid to the provider working with the particular program. Tuition fees are paid to the home campus. WCCCSA will conduct a pre-registration process to determine final enrollments in each course
and after the pre-registration process, students will register for their courses with the home Campus Coordinator.
Residence is not required to participate in this program. All participants who are accepted will be considered students at Cascadia Community College and receive a Cascadia Community College transcript.
Transfer Courses
Course credits are transfer level, however, since acceptability varies from
school to school, you should ensure that your selections
are accepted to the
transfer institution of your choice.
