Guaranteed Associate in Integrated Studies
The Guaranteed Associate in Integrated Studies Degree Program is a two-year transfer degree that is offered primarily through team-taught classes called learning communities. The program is packaged so that students know exactly which classes to take every quarter in order to graduate in two years.
The benefits of the guaranteed AIS include:
- Predictable, guaranteed plan for graduation
- Courses set up around themes, connecting subjects and topics
- Close interaction with faculty and students
Student must:
- Have taken the COMPASS test
- Be college ready in English or mathematics (or be willing to enroll in extra courses or summer school) based on COMPASS or other placement measures
- Be available to take courses Monday through Friday
- Consult advisors for selection of elective credit, university admissions requirements and major requirements
