Professional Development
Cascadia has established a Professional Development Fund which is managed by
the Executive Director of Human Resources/ Payroll, with the assistance of the
Professional Development Committee. The committee meets monthly to review all
applications and recommend funding to the Executive Director of Human Resources/
Payroll. The Executive Director of Human Resources/ Payroll, in collaboration
with appropriate members of the President's Cabinet fund the applications within
the established budgetary line items.
The Professional Development Committee invites full-time, part-time, or
temporary Cascadia Community College employees to submit proposals on an
on-going basis for professional development activities to be funded from the
college's professional development budget. Individuals or groups may submit
proposals.
