LINDA HENDRICKSON STARTS WORK AS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CASCADIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION

Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College Foundation Board of Directors welcomed its new Executive Director, Linda Hendrickson, on August 3.

“We are very pleased to welcome Ms. Hendrickson to the Cascadia Foundation,” said Linda Holman, Foundation Board Chair. “Her enthusiasm and excellent skills will help us continue to grow and serve Cascadia students.”

Ms. Hendrickson was the Director of Education and Social Service Projects at the Executive Service Corps of Washington prior to coming to the college foundation. She has also been the Program Director for Communities in Schools of Washington State and, as a consultant, has conducted numerous training seminars in the development of community involvement programs for school leaders.

Ms. Hendrickson is no stranger to communicating with the public about educational achievement and funding issues, having been an elected member of the Federal Way School Board for eight years.

“I am delighted to begin work with this excellent Board and all the friends of the Foundation to create scholarships and support for Cascadia students,” said Ms. Hendrickson. “Cascadia Community College makes such a unique contribution to this community. It will be very exciting to be a part of its growth.”
