CASCADIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES NOMINATES DR. WILLIAM CHRISTOPHER TO BE PRESIDENT

Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College Board of Trustees, at a special meeting on May 4, 2005, announced that it would begin negotiations with Dr. William Christopher to fill the position of president of the college. The college will begin negotiations immediately with the aim of having the new president take office by July 1.

Dr. Christopher, Campus President of Rock Creek, Portland Community College in Portland, Oregon, was one of three finalists under consideration. All three candidates had been interviewed on campus as part of an extensive selection process.
