Inglemoor High School Student Photography Reception at Cascadia Community College
Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College will host a reception and digital photography show to exhibit the photo art produced by Inglemoor High School students. The event will take place on Friday, April 27, 2007 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the 2nd floor foyer of Cascadia Community College. The public is welcome and there is no charge to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
Sue Harvey, photo instructor at Inglemoor, has assisted students in preparing photos for exhibit and working with college staff to give recognition to her students, and she urged family and friends to attend and see the "very high quality and beautiful images these students have produced." More than 100 students attend the classes she teaches throughout the day, and a majority of them are expected to have work represented in the exhibit.
Kirstin Haugen, an Inglemoor High School graduate and recent appointee to the Cascadia Community College Board of Trustees, applauded the plan. "I am pleased to see Cascadia host a special event for talented Inglemoor students in the arts," said Ms. Haugen. "I learned so much at Inglemoor and I know Cascadia shares that same vibrant mission for student success."
The college parking fee will be waived during the evening of the 27th in the Cascadia parking garage on campus. A map and driving directions to campus are available on Cascadia’s website at: www.cascadia.edu/CampusInformation/directions.asp
