Cascadia Reads Ozeki
Bothell, WA -
Writer, filmmaker, and organic-food advocate, Ruth Ozeki (All Over Creation, My Year of Meats), will visit Cascadia Community College, in Bothell, WA, on Wednesday, February 28th. Ms. Ozeki will give a public talk that day on the college campus from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in room 005 of UW2 (the University of Washington –Bothell-- building 2).
Members of the greater Bothell and Seattle area community who are interested in reading and discussing Ozeki's work in anticipation of her visit are invited to discuss her novel My Year of Meats (http://www.ruthozeki.com/meats/description.html).
Discussions will be led by college English instructors, Geeta Lakshmi Sadashivan and Jared Leising. Join us from 12 noon-1:00 on Jan 31 to discuss the first half of the book, and 12 noon-1:00 on Feb 14 to discuss the second half of the book. Both meetings will be held in room 161 of the college in building CC2.
These will be brown bag discussions -- coffee and tea will be provided. All members of the public and community are invited!
