"Securing America’s Energy Future" Will Be Topic of Presentation by Red Cavaney of American Petroleum Institute
Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College, UW Bothell, and the World Affairs Council will host a presentation by Red Cavaney, president and CEO of the American Petroleum Institute (API), on the subject of Securing America’s Energy Future. The event will take place in Bothell on February 8, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the North Creek Events Center, on the campus of Cascadia Community College/University of Washington Bothell, 18325 Campus Way NE, Bothell, 98011.
The presentation will be open to the public for $15, $10 for World Affairs Council members and students. Registering to attend may be accomplished through the website http://www.world-affairs.org/calendar.cfm?eventID=794&action=eventDetails

As president and CEO of API, the national trade association of the U.S. oil and natural gas industry, Cavaney brings an insider’s perspective and a wealth of experience and knowledge on the subjects of energy, communications, government relations and trade associations. He spent over 20 years as president and CEO of major trade associations and served as a senior member of the White House staffs of Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan.
Eastside Speakers Services is a program of the World Affairs Council to bring speakers on international topics to the region.
